Annotation System

Top-level access to annotation tools. Tap once to select (or switch) tools, such as the pen, highlighter, typewriter, stamps, notes, straight line, underline, strikethrough, photos, voice recording, and date stamp. Better yet, customize your tools. For example, create a set of custom highlighters, import your own stamps (such as a signature), set a custom typewriter, and more!

Graphical File Manager

Document thumbnails make finding and browsing your library even easier. Create and manage folders, drag and drop files and folders, and perform actions on multiple selected files.

Full-Featured PDF Reader

Continuous-scrolling page display with all standard scroll/zoom gestures supported, and full screen reading mode. Edit mode now supports two-finger scrolling.

Typewriter Annotations

Add a text note directly to your PDF with Typewriter. Easily ajust the appearence of a Typewriter annotation by manipulating the font family, font size, font style, alignment, and color options.

Undo, Redo, and Erase

You can now edit Finger and Line annotations while in annotation mode! Take advantage of Undo, Redo, and Erase to create precise drawing annotations.

Convert Webpages, DOC, & PPT to PDF

iAnnotate will import your Word and Powerpoint documents into vector PDF, and you can also save any webpage as a PDF document.

In addition to the all-new Navigation Panel, navigate your document by annotation, bookmark, outline, jump-to-page, next and previous page, first and last page, back and forward, and more!

Flatten Support

Flatten and Print

Flatten your annotations directly into the PDF page content, so that your annotations are printable, unmodifiable, and can be viewed in all PDF readers (including the Mail app). Supports printing directly from the app using AirPrint.

Easy Transfer of PDFs

Send and receive PDFs via email, Dropbox, through iTunes sync, by browsing to any PDF link, or using our free desktop transfer software.

Tabbed PDF Reading

Quickly switch between multiple open documents. Tab setup and page locations are always remembered, whether switching tabs or quitting and returning to the app. Continuous-scrolling page display with all standard scroll/zoom gestures supported, single-page or continuous scrolling zoom, and full screen reading mode.

Customizable Toolbars

Drag-and-drop the exact tools you need to your toolbars, which can then be repositioned and resized as you see fit.

Document and Full-Library Search

Search your entire PDF library to instantly find all documents with any keyword. Search for new, recent, unread, and annotated documents, or browse using folders. Improved document search supports phrases, punctuation, and even regular expressions.

VGA Output

Use the iPad VGA dock connector to display your documents onto an external projector or monitor. Your document view, along with all annotations and popup displays, is mirrored as you navigate and annotate the document. You can also reference documents in other tabs on your iPad, without affecting the presented display.
