I Deleted the Freehand Highlighter from my Toolbar. How do I Recreate it?

iAnnotate features a freehand highlighter command that appears in the default Annotation Toolbar. This command allows you highlight text that has not undergone Optical Character Recognition (OCR).

The Freehand Highlighter tool

If the freehand highlight tool is removed from the toolbar, it can be recreated in two ways.

  1. Tap the double arrows to open the Toolbar Drawer.
  2. Tap the gear icon at the top of one of the Toolbars.
  3. Under the Annotation tab, tap Add Pencil of a specific Color and drag it into the Toolbar.
  4. Use the sliders in the popup HSB display to select color, transparency, and line thickness.

You can also:

  1. Tap the double arrows to open the Toolbar Drawer.
  2. Tap the plus sign box next to the double arrows.
  3. Tap Annotation from the Add Toolbar menu. This toolbar includes the freehand highlighter.
