If iAnnotate is unexpectedly closing or otherwise running slowly, force-quitting the app may resolve the issue.

To force-quit iAnnotate:

• Press the iPad home button to exit the app.
• Double-tap the home button to display the iPad task bar.
• Tap and hold the iAnnotate icon until it wiggles.
• Tap the red "-" icon that then appears, to force-quit iAnnotate

After force-quitting the app, you also may wish to reboot the iPad.
